lol, awesome Jeff. I don't know what's more funny, your comment or the Yankees trying to practice rational thought in regards to spending money.

I highly doubt Jeter will play for any other team. I'd say he'll prolly retire if they don't see eye to eye, but there's a few records he can probably beat if he continues to play... Oughta be interesting.

I don't know what's more impressive, Jeter's accomplishments on the field or his harem of beautiful women off the field. I'm leaning towards the latter...

Jeter batted .270 last year, which is the first time he was under .290 in his career, and had an obp of .340, also the lowest in his career. Yanks don't need to overspend on an old shortstop.

The old man kicks the bucket and the purse strings get a little bit tighter apparently.

I remember clarkson fighting downie when downie was a flyer.was bad enough downie left his visor on but then he scratched clarkson with his fingernail.the part that made me laugh was a bunch of flyer fans thought dowie knocked clarkson tooth out and picked it up to keep.what they didn't realize was being as he's deaf in one ear he lost his hearing aid during the fight and was retrieving it to put back in his ear

I think the offer the Yankees have made to Jeter is fair. If he can get more from another team so be it. 15 million per year for 3 years for a 37 year old SS is a lot of money I don't care how great he's been for the Yankees in the past.

If Jeter & his agent expect more they're nuts as far as I'm concerned.
