The Latin American team from Aguadulce, Panama, defeated the Canada champions from Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sunday at Volunteer Stadium, 8-3.

Latin America shortstop James Gonzalez hit a grand slam in the bottom of the second inning after Carlos Flavio hit a home run to start the inning, putting Canada down in a tough hole, 6-0.

Latin America pitcher Edisson Gonzalez started out the game with three consecutive strikeouts, which set the bar high for the Canadian champions. Latin America struck out 13 by the end of the game.

It looks like the team from Texas is the team to beat on the American side.

During the at bats they show the who would you like to meet someday question. Of course at least one Canadian kid had Wayne Gretzky. Gotta love it!!
