what the hell, might as well post a couple of highlights
for those that don't know, The Band was Bob Dylan's back up band for years before they broke out on their own.
A rare band, as there were pretty much 4 guys capable of lead vocals, all 5 of them just monster musicians. (4 out of 5 are Canadians, too)



on the original, Neil had a big coke-smear under his nose for this song.
It had been digitally removed in later versions


this one's kind of interesting. Clapton's guitar strap is twisted, and he loses it just as he gets going. Very quick thinking by Robbie Robertson to pick up the solo while Clapton saves his guitar

I have a meeting at 10. I was going to finish up my project tonight, but then I got invited to a party. I got back and I wasn't tired. It was actually a pretty chill party, though there were a few awkward moments. But you'll have then when half the crew is sober and the other half plastered, I suppose. =P
