Saw a tall brother with dreads today wearing a Calgary Flames' hat out front of my office. Cracked me up. Tried to snap a pick, but he was off down the street before I could get it out.

You wonder if his buddies ask him why he's wearing a Flames jersey? I've been stopped in the States when wearing some Flames gear and people have asked me if I'm from Calgary. Very positive remarks about the team as well (unlike what you will hear from those Vancouver and Edmonton folks).

It's entirely possible he was from Calgary...but I'm gonna guess it just caught his eye at Lids. I see brothas wearing all kinds of hockey gear around town. The ones in Caps' gear are usually fans (and I'm psyched b/c there are definitely more black people at hockey games in DC these days!), but the others it's usually just one of a number of hats they like.

In any case, since he was from Calgary and I know how dangerous people are there, so I shot him immediately just to be safe.

IPW - please PM me body disposal advice. I've been pulling off this weekend at Bernie's thing all day long. It is adding to my street cred b/c i'm telling people he's my best friend. I've learned a lot about friendship today... and a little about dinosaurs. (Comeds' shout out)

Alot of them are, I agree. It gets on my nerves too. They also expect too much out of others. Like they expect every Wings defenseman to be Nick Lidstrom and spend more time focusing on weaknesses instead of strengths.

yep, but that's kinda why I don't like this set up. A 1 game playoff in baseball is a coin flip. They should make it at least a 3 game series..

But yeah, not the best played game the Braves have played and Larry deserved a bit better of a game to go out on, but hope he enjoys retirement nonetheless.
