I see Jose Bawl-tista got tossed last night for arguing balls and strikes again. The Jays should have got rid of this crybaby a couple of seasons ago.

Did you see Cherry's rant on him? It was so ironic it started rusting.

I missed the rant by Grapes, but seriously I'm tired of the JoeyBats schtick. Of course, I'm not really much of a Jays fan, but I was bored (lol).

The whole "I'm probably retiring...nahhhhh" thing is far from surprising. And I don't blame him this time. Someone was stupid enough to give him 2 years.

He sucks at this point in his career though and if he's coming back it's for the money and not because he's any good any more

And the Phillies are equally to blame for signing that bum too

Would Don Cherry say the same if Bautista was from Czechloslovakia?

Then he'd be a typical soft, whining Euro. ;)

Ryne Sandberg is horrible at managing pitchers

Cole Hamels had a low pitch count but this was after he threw at least 20 pitches in the 7th and gave up two runs and with 2 through 4 being righties in the 8th, he waited until the game was tied on a homer to take Cole out and put Ken Giles in, who went 1-2-3

Why I have no problem with yesterday's game:

Interesting reason on why Ramirez got the start yesterday. Seems like Lloyd was a step a head of everyone. Maybe that's why he gets the big bucks, huh?
Erasmo Ramirez was a disaster this afternoon, giving up 10 runs in 3+ innings. There are however positives from his promotion.
Felix Hernandez will get an extra two days off after being moved to Friday’s game against the Washington Nationals. But that isn’t the only purpose it serves.
Assuming he isn’t moved again, and the Seattle Mariners stay with a five-man rotation, The King is now scheduled to start the one-game playoff should the M’s make it. The current rotation order has James Paxton pitching the final game of the regular season and Hisashi Iwakuma would be in line to start Game 1 of the ALDS.
As for the teams the M’s could play in that not-quite-postseason matchup, CJ Wilson (10-8, 4.45 ERA) is in line to go for the Los Angeles Angels while Sonny Gray (13-7, 3.00) would be the starter for the Oakland A’s
