I gotta ask Matty, what's taking you to St. Loo for a week? They certainly love their baseball in that town. $40 should get you some pretty nice seats down the 1st or 3rd base line.

Wifes business is having a convention so Im tagging along with some other husbands. we decided to take the 2 days convention and turn it into a 6 day trip.

Also, it doesn't matter if it's a Pirates - Cardinals game, wear a Cubs t-shirt. You'll be fine.

If there was any opportunity to have an NHL General pilgrimage, this is it.

1. It's a hockey town (well, a baseball town that has a hockey team in it)
2. It's semi-centrally located.
3. It'll be mattola'ed at the time.

:D

the duel no hitter is no more in Milwaukee. For Garza anyways, Harang's is still going.

Also, whenever someone is running to the first plate, it is customary to yell "TOUCHDOWN!" And you want to be the first to say it, don't wait for everyone else.

Reminds me of the Scottish guy attending his first baseball game in America - He gets to his seat behind first base and the first batter up rips a single to center field. The Scottish guy jumps out of his seat and yells "Run, laddie, run"

Next guy up rips a double to left field off the wall and the Scottish guy leaps out of his seat and yells once again "Run, laddie, run"

Next guy up draws a walk and slowly makes his way up the first base line. The Scottish guy again yells "Run laddie, run". The guy next to him says, "Why should he run, he's got four balls"

The Scottish guy smiles and says, "Walk proud laddie, walk proud"
