I'd like to try and put some lyrics to that acoustic song. Just not sure if I have the balls to do it myself.

You mean writing them or singing them?

Singing them... I write lyrics from time to time. I'm pretty good at writing, singing is hit or miss, it's weird. Cause I am not trained at all in singing nor do I do it on a regualar basis. If it's like low, like Days of the New, I can pull it off... But if there is a lot of different notes that need to be hit, scratch that.

The next time I'm in Connecticut (I've never been there), I'll sing them for you. I don't know how good or bad I am at singing, but I have no reservations about doing it.

Oh yeah, by the way, Jeff, are you familiar with soundproofing materials? I thought maybe you would be since you record stuff, and I need some.

Nope, sorry. I am a ghetto recording artist lol. I record through a shitty logitech computer microphone. And just keep doing it over and over till it sounds good and there is no outside noise.

I am going to invest in a 8 track digital recorder soon. Just need to wait a little bit after dishing out for the hockey gear.

I just put in an inquiry about Class A pyramid foam. I hope the stuff works.

Haha, I wish. I'm lining the inside of a sound-insulating box that I need to cover my apparatus for my research, because it's freaking unbearably loud. The Styrofoam insulation, 3/4" OSB, and thin masonry board weren't enough.

5300!

I might be in Tucson by then, but you should bring your guitar anyway.
