Pirates win! 6-3 over the Cubs. Correia with the win, Dempster the loss, and Hanrahan the save. Neil Walker had a grand slam!

The offense looked good and the pitching didn't implode. The offense should be good this year, or at least average, but the pitching will likely implode, so the longer it takes for that to happen, the happier I'll be.

In October 2004, I was hit my a car when I was crossing a street. Even though I was all banged up and bandaged and in a lot of pain, my roommate insisted we go out to watch the World Series. This one bar we were in was packed with Sox fans and even though I had a black eye and my arm in a sling, all the Boston dudes were still not shy about pushing past me in the crowd or stepping on my feet and one of the dudes stole my seat when I got up. Jerky Red Sox fans.

Speaking of lab, I'm designing a new device to cut down the noise on my readings, which will make them nice, but within error, I have determined that I have reasonable data!
