No, it's not Gimme Shelter.

I know I am emotionally distressed by my team having given up 10 goals, but it's not the rolling stones. Different ad.

I've been there. I'll probably go back for baseball season at times. I like this board a lot more, though. There seems to be a lot less empty posting here, so to speak.

It's a rising and descending minor passage to start with almost no instruments. Then it breaks into major with everyone playing. Grr, gonna keep me up all night.

EDIT: Probably by a band that only has had one hit.

And if it makes you feel any better, the Wings recently had a 2-man advantage for nearly 90 seconds and didn't register a shot on net. :L :L :L :L

Pictures of themselves in thongs? I didn't see that sort of stuff... Thank God.

Back to filth centuries ago, people didn't start bathing semi-regularly until the 1860s. A doctor demonstrated the danger of leaving pores clogged by covering a horse in tar and letting people watch it die (sorry IPW). Of course, the horse died because it overheated, but the message was still correct.

Also, showers were originally designed to be extremely powerful. Some required helmets...

I'm serious, they did.

Victorians loved pain for some reason... :L

The word toilet originally referred to a type of linen. It eventually evolved into being what it is today (on the way leading to the word toiletries when it referred to items on a dressing table), passing through some ten definitions.

And going to the bathroom was a social event back in the day. The romans evacuated in very close proximity, chatting the whole time with total strangers evacuating next to them. George Washington had a bathroom with two toilet seats right next to each other at Mt. Vernon.
