I can't find anything nice to wear out tonight. I need a sugar daddy to buy me a whole new wardrobe. How is everyone else's Friday night?

I was on duty tonight, so I hustled over from my lab to get the my building on time, stopping at the campus eatery to pick up a sandwich, only to remember that it's Lent and I can't eat meat on Fridays. So I ate an orange and some pretzels for dinner. Not being able to eat very much puts me in a bad mood, and I was already in a bad mood because I couldn't finish my circuit due to lack of supplies, which could put a major damper on my plans to get data this weekend unless I can work something out in the interim, so I wasn't a happy camper for the first couple hours of duty.

Fortunately, things turned around, as the other guy I was on duty with and I decided that board games night was a must. So we rounded some friends up for Scategories and played Pokemon cards while we waited. (Yes, seriously. Don't judge me.) The last friend just left, so it was a good conclusion to my bittersweet day.

/first world problems.
