The other correlation with age is that you start picking up on what women are better for YOU. The combination of the nice guy curve and this experience are powerful things.

It's a long life. You spend 20 years (more in some cases) in the care of your parents. You'll spend likely most if not all of the rest of your life with people depending on you in a marriage/family once you reach that point.

In the meantime, there's a tiny window of nearly limitless freedom and possibilities. Do your best with the women, learn about them and yourself, but mostly, enjoy the fuck out of this tiny window.

That happens from time to time, especially in the first few months after the breakup. Part of it is missing just being in a relationship, especially if you've gotten used to it.
