I actually think I'll spend the day outside. I was watching Avatar because it was too hot out, but the next few day should be nice.

Speaking of outside, I went for my run today, and I extended my route a little bit, running part of what is usually my cool-down. As I ran up that last hill, three cop cars pulled along the sidewalk beside me, so I waved and continued on. At the top of the hill where I finished my run, four or five people were shouting at each other on their porch. Lots of volume and lots of profanity. The three cop cars pulled up to the house just as I was walking by. They must have gotten lost at the bottom of the hill and then found the place just as I did.

That wasn't a very good story in retrospect.

Nobody around here plays, unfortunately, but basketball is a real possibility. Maybe some folks will be down at the local court.

In other news, I've lost like 20 pounds now. So once I am able to run I'm going to work at gaining some back in the form of muscle

Good call. I, on the other hand, have about 20 more pounds to lose. I've got a little too much insulation for the Arizona heat. And I sweat excessively as it is.
