Puck, to be honest, I will never be happy in just one band. I have yet to meet one person with as diverse a taste in music as me. Ideally I am a progressive metal person, which incorporates very heavy riffage as well as jazz fusion elements and a lot of acoustic interludes. I also love blues, nothing is more fun to jam out than blues. I can rock out to Dave Matthews, that tone is awesome in that vid you posted, Warren is awesome.

My ideal tone is modeled after Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth. His style is just perfect, the way he blends heavy metal and folk rock is just awesome. Has a very Pink Floydish feel to their mellower stuff, but also satisfies my appetite for cookie monster vocals .

Haunting but beautiful song.

Another mellow one, one of my all time favorites.

Here is an example of blending really heavy vocals with clean vocals. Just awesome IMO.
