There are other venues through which to meet women. Just go to a place, any sort of place where women may be, and strike up a casual conversation. It's got a low success rate, sure, but eventually you'll hit it off with someone.

So not true. Classical music is making a huge comeback among the college-aged population. Half my campus liked classical.

My friend from college is a professor there. Yeah, I think beer pong on the lawn is of greater interest than classical music. Nice town though.
