Some kind of novelty t-shirt exchange across states would be a great Web site idea. Because if I wear a 7th Annual Bethesda Crab Festival t-shirt from around here, it's lame. But if I wear a 3rd Annual Sioux Falls RodeoFest shirt, it's cool and vintage. Unless I'm traveling in the Dakotas, then it's lame again.

Relatedly, tourist t-shirts with good/modern designs are lame. But tourist t-shirts with old/retro/bad designs are cool.

I would be on that Web site a lot.

You're crying because you're leaving something with which you're familiar. That's natural. It's why people cry at graduations and weddings and things like that. Some old state is ending and a new state is beginning. Everyone cries (except Alex Semin, that is). It just makes you a person.
