Oh, and by that I mean McCutchen and Kemp aren't OF starters, and Reyes isn't starting at short stop right now. Kemp, Reyes, and McCutchen are the three best players in the National League right now.

Agreed. Conan is a pretty awesome dude. I'm a big fan.

I saw the show live during his first season on NBC. He came out and sang and Elvis song in the aisles to get the crowd pumped up before the show. It was pretty cool. He's definitely my favorite of the late night guys. Pretty awful what Leno did to him and that NBC didn't give him a chance. But I almost think he's too brilliant for a vanilla 11:30 late show.

Looking at the NL leaders, is P.Fielder related to Cecil Fielder, AND is up there in avg. and HRs? Wow. I don't follow the MLB much.

Yeah, he's a better host when he has freedom. I feel like his worst shows were when he had the Tonight Show, and his best were after he knew he was fired. At that point, knowing he couldn't lose his job even more, he just did whatever he wanted, and it was great.

If I were to make a NL all star team, it'd be:
C-Brian McCain
1B-Prince Fielder
2B-Rickie Weeks
SS-Jose Reyes (but Tulo isn't that far behind, they are just opposite players as far as stats go)
3B-Placido Polanco
OF-Matt Kemp
OF-Lance Berkman
OF-Ryan Braun
(I jst did it by OF overalll, but there is one LF, CF and RF....)
I think McCutchen is having a great year, but I think he's 4th or 5th on the list of OF, and 2nd in CF

I factor in defense. Berkman is a travesty in the outfield defensively. That's why he wouldn't start on my team. McCutchen's an entire win better than Berkman so far this year. Votto, Pujols, and Fielder are all interchangeable so far.
