That's what makes it great. Special effects are a nice bonus, but it's the character development and struggle in Cobb that makes it a good movie. As much as the technology changes, the same things make a good movie now as made a good movie 50 years ago.
Relatedly, I'm trying to think who the best actors of my generation are. Dudes in the 25-45ish range. So far I have Leo, Matt Damon, and Johnny Depp. Who else rounds out that top 5?
