Ken Watanabe was great in Inception. ALL the actors turned in great acting performances, but I liked his character more than most of the others.

No, I agree. Watanabe was outstanding. Such a good movie from every angle. I don't know why I'm pimping it so much. This idea just came to me in a.... oh no...

Acting, visuals, music, actual story with alot of thought behind it. Just to name a few things.

That's what makes it great. Special effects are a nice bonus, but it's the character development and struggle in Cobb that makes it a good movie. As much as the technology changes, the same things make a good movie now as made a good movie 50 years ago.

Relatedly, I'm trying to think who the best actors of my generation are. Dudes in the 25-45ish range. So far I have Leo, Matt Damon, and Johnny Depp. Who else rounds out that top 5?
