We share a 1 bedroom appartment, so we use the pull out couch as a bed and every couple weeks we switch off and the other person gets the bed.

All I can go by is what they told me and the lack of evidence telling me otherwise. And I'm damn sure he wasn't Ed Begley Jr.!!!

I think it is possible to "blackout" when getting too drunk (and you don't have to be an alcoholic to do it), but yeah, if it's every time or almost every time, c'mon now. That's either not the truth, or like Jstew is saying, you have some kind of serious drinking problem.

I just try to apply the word to both guys and gals. Gals are largely the ones that see it as a negative. Guys will hear a female friend talking about a friend of theirs that is a "whore" and immediately their interest is peaked. Haha.

This whole thread just reminded me that once in college I hooked up with a girl b/c of hockey. We were having a conversation at a party we had in my house. We started talking about hockey (she was a Pens' fan) and went upstairs to see if we could find it on the radio (the internet was around, but not yet widespread, certainly no "Gamecast" stuff happening). We did, listened for a bit while sitting on the bed, and then just ended up hooking up a few minutes later.

Anyone else ever get action because of hockey?

i dont have a specific story where hockey got me action other than many regular "cdn doggie style" encounters

I actually haven't been all that busy. I've just been watching a ton of Netflix. I'm probably going to back off when I finish Doctor Who, because I just need to stop doing this, but once that happens, I'll also be swamped with homework and the like.

Teaching's a lot easier than I expected, by the way, especially since I just have to review someone else's lesson plan to prepare for lab. The only class I anticipate giving me trouble is Statistical Thermodynamics, and apparently the professor just gives everyone A's and B's every semester anyway, so perhaps I don't have to worry too much. This first homework assignment is a doozy, though, using the relationship between entropy and energetic degeneracy to show every property of an ideal gas (and he called it just a warmup). I also have my first cumulative exam tomorrow, so I need to study for that. I'm either going to take the PChem one on Hund's Rule and spectroscopy or the OChem one on carbonyl chemistry and electron-pushing arrows.

I'm doing well. Loving life with this heat wave over and it was quite the exciting week around here with the quake/'cane all at once. Pysched for football and hockey to start up.

The bolded sounds like a really cool class. Lots of physics I'm guessing? I always really liked physics. Appeals to my inner math .
