It is amazing how much we take for granted until we go without something.Bet that hamburger felt like a ten coarse meal after going that long.Glad to hear you are able to eat sir.sure your going to have some adjusting but if you adjust anything like Boyes you'll be fine. He's been unreal since you guys picked him up.

He was, and Ruff didn't like that.

Tallinder is a hard working player, and I wasn't happy the Sabres got rid of him without picking up someone of equal or greater talent.

Mair has found his way into Lemaires doghouse as well. And Tallinder has been solid on d and one of our few dmen who can move the puck

I was hoping the Sabres would pic up a solid D-man in addition to Boyes, but it didn't happen. I'm hoping they address that in the off season.

Shock getting blown out.

Tough place to start the season. The Sabercats' first game in the new AFL in front of a big crowd and you can't forget they are a damn good team too. Can't say I'm too worried at this point. The Shock started last year 0-1 and we know how that season ended. :)

In better news the Chiefs beat Tri-City 5-1 at the arena tonight. It's the Chiefs' 6th win in a row and they also have a 5 game winning streak over the Americans as well. With the loss, the Americans' streak of 3 consecutive division titles was snapped. They cannot catch Portland. The Chiefs remain 1 point back of the Winterhawks and both teams have 5 games remaining. The regular season finale, Spokane @ Portland, could very well be the determining factor in who wins the division and gets the top seed in the conference.
