In regards to the game, it was a fast game. One power play all night. Everett had it after a fight. Instigator penalty.

Also, the final shot total was 50-24 in favor of Spokane. I had a hard time buying that.

What do you guys do at practice is it similar to hockey drills

Depends on what night it is! We have endurance nights, scrimmage nights, skate skills nights, stuff like that.

I wouldn't know if the drills are similar to hockey as I've never played hockey before. We usually end practices with suicide runs though. Every sport does that, right?

We actually don't practice at a rink anymore. We have our own warehouse and we have sport court laid out. Practices either start at 7:30 or 9:00 pm on weekdays. I just prefer the 9:00 pm ones because I don't normally get home from work until after 6 and my commute to practice can either be 20 minutes or an hour depending on the time of evening and the mode of transportation. I like to have a chance to come home and eat dinner and not rush myself.

makes sense, easier to get a spot when its late.

We skated at a roller hockey rink for years and they would give us the shittiest time slots. Our practices used to not start til 10 or 10:30 at night! We understood that their priority was hockey but we were paying the same amount of money and actually bringing in more money when we held events there. And then the guys would always run late and then they would sit on the benches and watch us stretch. It was lame. I'm glad we have our own facility now. Even if it's in West Oakland and the roof leaks.
