I found out today from my research adviser that Dr. Mark Warner -- a materials scientist/chemical physicist in England who specializes in liquid crystal elastomers (he literally wrote the book on them; I read it) -- is quite interested in my research and wants my adviser to stop my England in the summer to chat about it.
