Not a brownie eater, myself.
I've never heard of such a thing.
I've never heard of such a thing.
Black Bean Brownies Recipe
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
3 eggs
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon instant coffee (optional)
1 cup chocolate chips, divided (optional)
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
1.Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
2.Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan and set aside.
3.Combine the black beans, eggs, oil, cocoa powder, salt, vanilla extract, sugar, and instant coffee in a blender or food processor until smooth.
4.Stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and walnuts, if using.
5.Pour the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
6.Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips (if using) over the top of the mixture.
7.Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides of the pan, about 25 to 30 minutes.
8.Cool completely on a wire rack and then cut brownies into desired size and shape.
Used this except insted of sugar, I used a sugar substitute. I also didn't use any of the optional ingredients.
Well, now you have.
My unique recipe? Bologna sandwich. Peanut butter, cheese, bologna, ketchup, and pickles. Sometimes, I'll even add mustard. It's really good, and as my dad and I say, it tackles all the major food groups!
As wonderful as that sounds, I think I'll stick to my usual sandwiches of everything available on the sandwich tray.
Today I had three different meats, six different grilled vegetables, lettuce, onions, pickles, and mayonnaise.
That sounds good.
Free makes it even better!
I just told my girlfriend about your brownies, Tyler, and she responded that the only thing allowed to replace flour in her brownies is more chocolate.
I think I found a keeper. =P
Thanks for your recipe Chris! You probibly don't know this, but I do/did aspire to become a chef. It varies often as to how reaslistic of a dream I think it is.
haha, that's alot like my current girlfriend. Except I'm sure yours isn't a puck bunny I feel as though I have failed, and I'm working on it!!!
Mine doesn't even like hockey.
Yet.
Mine hasn't ever seen a hockey game, but she started to look up names I told her and she came back the next day telling me that Jordan Staal was a hottie
