Seriously, lol, sorry Puckhead, not to steal from your boys up north.....but I think we have a New WEST COAST EXPENSE!!!

The big 3 have played 10 games now (Heatley was out 1 game and obviously playing hurt last night so I won't punish him for that one) and have a combined 4 assists.....ouch.

A core player will be moved this summer (one of Iggy, Kipper, or Regehr) will not be with the Flames come training camp in September. Personally, I'd like to move Regehr, but he has a NTC and probably won't waive it.

Calgary trades Iginla

Boston trades the 2nd pick overall & Tim Thomas

This trade would work from a cap standpoint. It would also allow the Flames to trade either Kipper or Thomas to someone else. Plus the Flames would get Hall or Seguin.

Wow an all Alberta 1, 2 at the draft in LA.

It has gotten to the point where Sutter would be an idiot not to consider it. Currently, the Flames have no draft picks in the first two rounds, and the prospects in the pipeline are not looking good. The other thing to consider is Boston is my team in the Eastern Conference, thus cheering for Iggy in a B's uniform would be okay by me.

Iginla's the type of player every team would want. Productive on the ice, and a class act on and off. And he's a great leader to boot.
