Coulda been real spicy if that grand salami hadn't been hit earlier. You could tell as soon as it left his hand it was gonna get jacked. But he had to get it over the plate. Rough couple of batters there.

Two things I enjoy seeing:

The Astros lose
Sean Payton losing and namely getting beat by Nathanial Hacketts offense.

Mullins was disappointing this season. Hopefully he rebounds next year.

I guess I’m a Phillies fan from here on out.

Yeah they hit a wall for sure. Bats died over the last month but the pitching was still decent. Not so much in the playoffs.

Hard to say what will happen next year. I think the lineup will be better, but the pitching..... not sure.

Oh well, it was a fun year.

I'm just glad that I got the MLB.TV for free so I was able to watch them this year. They were so loose and having so much fun. Really reminded me of those teams I watched from the bleachers at Memorial Stadium. It's like they didn't realize there was so much expectation. They just went and played.

And maybe that's what happened. At some point they looked up and realized how good they were.

Just hope they can keep that magic next year.
