Yep always in July.

Even crazier prior to 2019 it was a 40 round draft but is now only 20 rounds.
The one thing that sucks for the draft the only players eligible have played or reside from the US/Canada/US Territories so if you are an international player you aren't relegated to the draft and can sign with any team.
To convolute the situation even more is the bonus pool, international signing pool, compensatory picks and the only picks that can be traded are the compensatory picks.

It is an odd event in general.

Cole has better record and rest of the stats are similar. Cole has a much higher WAR than Castillo however. I also like FIP which Cole is slightly better by a third of a run.

It’s not like Dusty is stiffing a start for King Felix, Castillo hasn’t even been with the M’s for a year yet.

Personally Eovaldi is better than both this year.
