One of my childhood friend's step father was really into boxing and he got all the fights. Just out of boredom we watched most of Tyson's fights and any other of note. To this day the Tyson - Douglas fight might be one of the most amazing sporting events I saw live. Very entertaining fight too.

Remember that fight to this day. You could tell the whole time Tyson was not right.

And to anyone that put money on Douglas was like hitting the lottery. Weren't the odds unreal like 40 -1?

A guy I worked with was the same way. I’d go to his house to watch the Tyson fights religiously. The first Tyson fight I didn’t go over to watch because I assumed it would be another beatdown? You guessed it.

He called me at my uncles bar so excited that I could barely understand that he was trying to tell me Tyson lost.
