Hey 46, since I know you're a local DC boy, too, what did you think of the Mike Wise debacle this past week? Sounds like journalists around the country are going wacko.

As for this hatchet job, it's a simple case of an old man crying "back in my day!". Things are changing, and he no likey, so it must be due to some subversive segment of society. I know the one article you posted says it's paying homage to the corps...while i'm sure that's true, this generation likes the color black, too. That's not a bad thing, it's just reality. Mushnik's generation liked pastel colors. I'll take the black, thank you very much.

WTF did Wise say. I usually ignore him whne I listen to 106.7 on the net in Pittsburgh. Am I going to have to kick his pencil armed, MPB ass. He already has my hate for his treatment of the Caps. Did he knock the Hokies now too???

No, he just commited journalistic suicide by fabricating a story. While on his radio show, he decided he wanted to do a "social experiment" and prove that the bloggers are shit and will print anything they hear without checking it. So to prove this, he tweeted "Roethlisberger to get 5 games, i'm told"...Obviously, he made this up, but some outlets, including Pro Football Talk picked it up and reported it. Long story short, he apologised, was suspended by the Post for a month, and has pretty much lost all credibility.

EDIT: Obviously not about the Hokies, but bad journalism...should have clarified that in my question to you.
