I guess we could have played worse, how I don't know.......UCF was coming off a double overtime game that ended around midnight last night, and we looked like the tired team tonight.

:noidea:

I would think an experienced gambler would avoid conference tourneys..... There really isn't much to be gained unless you are playing to get into the dance.

Yeah. Napier won.

The coaches have no clue.

Not only does SK's stats better Napier, but when you narrow it down to stats against the other top 4 teams in the conference, SK absolutely blows both Smith and Napier away.

I am rooting for UConn to upset (I guess you could call it that) Memphis, so we can have a show-down. UC is going to beat the hell out of Napier in that game, win or lose. I would also expect SK to make it a mission to have a career game.

Looks like you're getting your wish.

Memphis is horrible. How in hell did they ever beat Louisville twice?

I think Louisville struggles when other teams are able to run with them. They feed on the half-court offenses of other teams, and when those teams don't like to run it equals more turnovers off their pressure. Since Memphis loves to run, they get out ahead of the press/pressure, and Louisville's defense isn't able to create the turnovers they normally get.

UC is much better when they run...makes me really wonder why they don't try and get out more. They always seem so content to slow things down, and take to their half-court offense, which is brutal. They should be looking to push the ball up court and attack at every chance they get.

Completely agree. Their games average about 63 possessions per game, and should average 70 or more. They should look to run constantly, and take it to the hole at every opportunity.

I'm drunker than I was at tip-off.

Decent 1st half. That ginger fuck for UConn annoys me.

Really like that they've put more pressure on UConn...

Still think they need to push the ball more on offense...

Also, UC couldn't get a foul called under the hoop if they PAID the officials...

Not that it would matter. They'd clunk the FT's. Crimony.

Hasn't Jackson missed something like 10 straight fts the last two nights?

The guy shoots like he's stiff as a board.

Has no one told him to bend his knees...just a little?

Also, I would LOVE to see the amount of 3-point shots made by Shaq Thomas' guy...the kid never stays on his man, and inevitably, they find his man wide open for a 3....every. time.

Offense is going right into "Force the ball to SK" mode.

Not looking for anything but to get the ball to SK...got to break out of that.

Shaq is fundamentally the most sloppy guy on the team. Very talented though.

You can see the talent on offense, he just strays away from his job too often on defense.

Also, UC needs to get back to pushing the ball on offense, in addition to not forcing it to SK...

I don't know why a team built to run the ball simply refuses to run

He's not the only one, too.

You can see the struggle for guys like Johnson, and Caupain to fight through screens.

Boatright nails a 3 because Johnson loses him, and can't get back in time.

Boatright nails another because Caupain can't get through a screen.
