Jackson is gonna come out like a man possessed in the 2nd half.

No Jackson for the last eighteen minutes of the first half and we're right there. He comes out with a second half like he had vs Houston and we're money.

We actually caught a break because Rubles called timeout when we didn't have any. Should've been a technical foul.

Good shot by Smith. Good defense on the last shot, too...he just made it.

Biggest issue was Jackson not playing 17 minutes in the first half, and then of course, they have up 16 layups or dunks on 22 made baskets. Too many guys trying to guard Smith when he was in the paint driving, and no one stayed hom to guyard Harrel...he killed them in the paint because no one guarded him.

To win the ACC the Cats must win out, and hope that either Louisville loses.

Or

If UC is going to lose, then they need to lose to UConn and beat Memphis and Rutgers, as well as have Louisville lose to SMU.

The tie breaker if they are tied is record vs the next team in the rankings, which right now is SMU. UC has lost to them, and Louisville yet to play them. So, Louisville HAS to lose to them OR

If Louisville wins out, that means UC needs Memphis to finish 3rd (UC must obviously win vs them next week) as Louisville has already lost to them, and that would give UC the edge.

ESPN on 5 most improved players:

5. Justin Jackson | F | Cincinnati Bearcats

Jackson came into the Bearcats' program as ESPN's No. 86 overall player based on his incredible energy, activity on the boards and finishing abilities. He's long, athletic and erases shots at a high level.

Early in his career, Jackson floated on the perimeter thinking he was shooter and driver. Now he dominates the inside -- making moves on the blocks with jump hooks and reverse pivots --and showcases a face-up game outside the paint. He's a tremendous shot-blocker on the ball, whether from the weak side or chasing down a breakaway.

"Justin is a win-first guy, and this year he realized he really was an outstanding power forward and not a true small forward," Cincinnati assistant Larry Davis said. "He got notably stronger and is a major factor for us."

Jackson epitomes everything the Bearcats' program is all about. He's willing to work and sacrifice to make the improvements to be a more relevant player and to help his team win. He's averaging 11.3 points, seven rebounds and three blocks per game as a senior.

When he arrived on campus four years ago, he didn't have a post move and couldn't score unless it was a drop-off or a put-back. Now he has a face-up game and a jump hook. He's also more relentless than ever on the glass. Under Mick Cronin, he has improved every season, rising from a high-motor guy to an all-conference player.
