The "immortal" tag has been removed from my Veee-dubster. I am looking to replace her in a way (I'll keep it around to give to my daughter next year). 190k miles is long enough to drive a car, I think.

So I am looking for advice on what my next wheels should be:

Don't laugh, gonna lower it a bit, take off the roof rack, put on nicer wheels and tint the windows. Make it look like the Audi RS6 wagon as much as I can. Believe it or not, this is the hardest car to find of these.

Hey, if you can't trust the opinions of invisible people on the Internets, who CAN you trust?

You can't go wrong with a Audi RS6...Of course, a BMW M5 is pretty sweet as well.

Buy or lease?

I personally like Audi A8 for a full sized luxury sedan if you have money or a Benz S550. If it's a lease, Mercedes is practically giving away some of their models right now with money factors like .00028. If you have an S corp you can run the payments through, it is worth it.

Stealing cars is a lost art, much like robbing banks.

Stealing cars is a lost art, much like robbing banks.

A husband and wife team robbed a bank last week in my town with an old van. They led police on a medium speed chase to the suburbs before they started throwing the bags of money out the window.

I tell ya, I kind of want to rob a bank just once to show people how it's really done.

Spending a shitload of money on a car never made sense to me
Unless you have the money and buying it will not affect your lifestyle or way of life one bit (i.e. can pay cash for it and not sweat it, or a large car payment will not affect your monthly budgeting or savings for the future even a little)

Trips me out when I see someone working at McDonalds or Starbucks, still living in an apartment with roommates (or with their parents) driving a non-old Mercedes or Lexus.

Really? Really?

Like we are to believe they've made it to a status in life where they are ballin' like Jay-z.
Ok. right.

** DISCLAIMER - the previous statement is not a reflection on 43 in any way, shape or form. He's an IT superstar in a position in life to splurge if he wants to. He does not fit in any the previous posts mentioned categories that I know of and is free to drop his cheese in whatever way suits him.

*fistbump* '01 Olds Intrigue still runs like new. Will probably rock it until the friggin wheels fall off, which might be never the way this beast powers around.

I used to Valet park and BMdubs were always my favorite ride. I haven't had the opportunity to drive an Audi, but compared with several mid to premium cars like Benz, Lexus, others....BMW was my favorite.

I say if you have the means (and I'm positive 43 does), more power to you. Myself, I like to target used Audi's and BMW's and save at least 50% off the showroom price. There is nothing like that new car smell, though.
