Kyuss... Oh man did I smoke a lot of pot in high school to this band.


One of the sickest live bands. They blew Metallica away as the opening act. Lol, I love how they look like they are rocking out in the 70's.


This is another band similar to the Sword. They are both borderline metal, but heavy and awesome.

I prefer Maiden's version, but I thought he did an amazing job of bringing out the lyrics of a deep song.

i lived next door to that dude for a bit

it was a crazy little 100 yr old 5 apartment shithole, very low-rent melrosian vibe.
Shaped like a "L". I had the corner pad, so right in the middle of everything.
Walking distance to the Brewery (live music club) and Comet Lounge (drinkin' club), so were popular with a certain sect of crazy f'ers
Ryan lived there for a bit in the unit next door. When I moved out, Kelly, the former lead singer from Cry of Love (had a Billboard #1 single "Peace Pipe" in '93, the guitar player Audley went to play for the Black Crowes) moved into my old room. Talk about a fall from grace.
