Been a good day. Took the two littler ones out to a stick and puck and getting ready to watch "Miracle" now.

I never really had a dad, but I sure enjoy being one.

My son and his GF took me out for a nice steak dinner today and it was a great day. Makes me proud to have helped raise two great boys. It's great to read post like 43's because he is obviously close with his boy's and sounds like a great dad. Sorry you never had the chance to have a dad to spend as much time with you as you do with your boys.

I hope it was a great day for all dad's and son's to be with their dad's. Family is so important and so precious, life is short and we should always try and make the best of it.

I even gave the neighborhood kids a break today and let them run all over my lawn.

Well my poor dad is on a European cruise with my mother, so unfortunately for him he wasn't able to celebrate Father's Day with any of his children or grand-children.

I e-mailed him Happy Father's Day though and told him that Huberdeau won the Calder. He is 1 of the team doctors for Huberdeau's former junior team and was quite close to him so I knew that would make him happy. But of course, he didn't need me to tell him and already knew and was pleasantly surprised as he thought it would goto Gallagher.

Last I heard he was in St. Petersburgh. Forget where else they are going but they were in Stockholm a few days ago and I know they are stopping over in Iceland for a few days on their way back. So I think he'll somehow be able to manage not being able to celebrate Father's Day with us. Haven't talked to my sisters or mother about it yet but I'm sure we'll arrange some sort of belated celebration after they get back.
