I thought it was a nice gesture but after 5 years it has just gotten old. No reason to just concentrate on 1 "treatable" cancer every year.
Thats what I like about hockey. They take on "Hockey fights cancer" and spread the money towards general cancer research.

An estimated 23,400 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 5,100 will die of it.
An estimated 190 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 55 will die of it.
On average, 64 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
On average, 14 Canadian women will die of breast cancer every day.
Probability of developing or dying from breast cancer
One in 9 women is expected to develop breast cancer during their lifetime and one in 29 will die of it.

Honestly, I'm not sure why they discriminate between various forms of cancer in the 1st place when it comes to this type of thing.
Looks like I should have put this in the political thread. Oh well. Like I said it's very personal and I would bet that any person here that was diagnosed with cancer will take it a fuck of a lot more seriously.
Boss is right! This is an opportunity to call out those golf, tennis, and... well, golf and tennis players that could do more to support the cause.
