Nothing so far from Star wars celebration has me excited for the next few years for Star wars movies. It's just all the same old same old

Episode 8 season 2 of Andor was one of the best hours of Star Wars I've seen

Just spectacular

I really like the Andor story line. This series and Rouge One might be my favorite Star Wars content ever produced

It wasn’t just regurgitated tropes and story arcs we keep seeing over and over and the characters are interesting. Good plot, plenty of tie ins but enough room to have its own identity

And it doesn’t hurt that is has a great cast

(I also liked Rebels. For an animated series, I thought it was excellent)

same. Empire will always be my favourite but Rogue One is a very close second. The last 2 episodes are so fantastic and like you I loved Rebels (going to watch it again)

Yeah the original trilogy always holds a special place

A new hope was the first and an intro to the Sat Wars universe (and John Williams score)

Empire was the pinnacle

Jedi had some amazing sequences. Like some of the conversation between the emperor and Luke while Luke is sparing with Vader was fantastic

the opening scene of Rogue One made me do double takes.

"this is how the Rebellion operates?"""
that was so good

No. You can watch it without any context outside this is how the rebellion is born ... The last 6 episodes of season 2 are tremendous..

I watched "Who are you" and "Welcome to the rebellion last night" ... man does this series hit at the right time. Diego Luna is such a great actor

I would say watch Rouge One, if you haven’t seen it, before watching Andor but other than that, it’s pretty much a stand alone story line

I mean it links up to tons of other stuff but not in a way that would take away from the experience

Now that I think about it, I’m going to give it some time but whenI come back and rewatch both seasons I’ll cap it off with Rouge One. That’ll give the movie some extra punch
