typical fight for 10, 9, 8 or 7

depending which Staal shows up this year, how Skinner and Sutter progress, and if our defense doesn't leave poor Cam out on the proverbial no mans land 4-5 times per game like the past 2 years, I see 7-8 as a real possibility.
If not, hellooooo mirror image of past two seasons... 1 or two points out on game 82.

But we grabbed Kaberle this year, so that in itself should lower our Goals against by .5/game, right? Right? He famous for his shut down defense, right? Please tell me....

lol, Kaberle is good at certain things. I was fooled into thinking that he was going to quarterback the PP... He did not do that at all. But he is great at keeping the puck in on the PP, and his passing is spot on. He rarely take a SOG, and for some reason couldn't turn his great passing into assists with Boston. But he very well may flourish in Carolina.
