Seeing the trailer for GTA6 earlier I thought about how lucky kids have things nowadays. If you play a game you really like, or see a movie you really like; buckle up because in 6-14 years there might be a sequel!

That sounds good. I'd watch it. I really liked season 1. How was season 2? I have AMC but not AMC+ so I cannot watch things on demand. So when we went to watch season 2 they let us see the first episode but that's it. I have to remember to DVR everything on AMC.

I liked season 2 but it was hard to top 1. The true life historical storyline/backdrop of japanese internment was well told but I can remember thinking season 1 had more of a mystical aura to it.

It was shot locally here in Vancouver and they filmed internment scenes here at Hastings Park (where the old Pacific Coliseum is... where the Canucks used to play) which was full circle because this was where Japanese Canadians were actually interned during world war 2.

Yeah that's a keeper, nice little movie. Really well acted IMO - subtle performances.

Mentioned a bit in another thread but really enjoying the final season of The Righteous Gemstones. Halfway through it now. The season opener was really good (not too funny though) and the rest I have seen have been pretty hilarious. The ending of the lake weekend episode.....

Really enjoying Your Friends And Neighbors on Apple. I was not sure after the first episode (which was fine) but quickly really liked it. I am glad Apple is still OK with throwing heaps of money away to make things no one (relatively) watches.

Nope, thats something else...but that "Uncut Gems" is really good too.

Gemstones is Danny McBride and Co as a televangelist family in the south.
