This gets overlooked far too often. It is why I don't consider Denzel a great actor or why I can never take Justin Timberlake seriously in a movie. I just see them.

I agree to an extent it is easy to play crazy, but the mannerisms that Heath Ledger added to the Joker is what gives him the nod over Tom Hardy in my opinion. Both were fun characters and did a good job.

I really saw a scumbag dot com geek in Justin in The Social Network:)

I agree on the mannerisms, but I got the same from the body language and eyes of Hardee and he had to do it all without using his mouth, the most useful tool to an actor. That had to be tough.

I just find the Joker character more cliche' for what it's worth.

The Joker now was really the best depiction of him ever since I read A Death in the Family and A Killing Joke. its a shame however that they couldn't continue one more film with that character to develop the true relationship that batman and the joker really have together from years of battle. I just dont think anyone could get past another actor playing the Joker even though I heard some rumours they were thinking of it even Jake Gyllenhaal was at one point rumoured.

There was supposed to be a scene where the Joker walked out of the prison as well, in DKR that was cut. They were going to use cut footage for the dark knight for it.

I wish they could further develop the Bane-Batman relationship, but that is out of the question now, i guess. The tense alliance/oldr brother sydrome stuff is really good.

yeah I heard that as well about the Joker. Im glad this series is done for Nolan and Bale. They need to move away from it for a while or hand it over to someone else in a few years (Im hoping over 10 if they revisit ever)

The Dark Knight Returns is a great story line.... 50 years old and cranky as fuck

Jaws 5? ----^ (or is it 6)

one of those trailers that you get a sense that you've seen basically the whole movie.
I'll still watch it though.

I have seen far too few of the ones on the first page.

on another tangent, his looks pretty good:

That looks good. The stuff the first handful of black players had to put up with was terrible. I read Frank Robinson's book years ago and he had to put up with a lot of foolishness. Frank wrote what might be the best thing I ever heard about Pete Rose. In the mid 60s there were just 2 black players on the Reds and they had to eat separately from the rest of the team. Pete used to eat with the two of them. I say it night be the best thing I ever read about him because it was also hinted that Pete ate with them because the rest of the team hated him.
