That is scheduled to be delivered to my house TODAY from Netflix! I'm excited. I love Edgar Wright (the director) so much!

allot of hidden humor in it you'll like it.all this talk of movies based on comic books and I'm surprised no mention of the crow one of the better adaptions and brandon lee nailed the role

Pretty easy to do in today's America...

Jack in the box for breakfast. Sausage and egg, a nice protein rich breakfast to start the day.
And of course a nice coffee from Starbucks. Gotta have our morning Starbucks you know.

For light afternoon snack, how about a nice healthy smoothie over at Smoothie King? Smoothies are really good for you. It's fruit, you know.

Then a very sensible dinner, perhaps a nice salad at T.G.I.Friday's, after all, we ARE watching our weight. Salads are the way to go, especially with chicken, which is always healthy..

I loved reading comics as a kid almost as much as I loved playing sports. My favorite Marvel character was Havok (Cyclop's brother), his original outfit was insane and could never be confused with practicality lol. Having said that:

X-Men part I: I thought it was pretty well adapted. The intent was to make more than one which is why you get the obligatory character back story treatment which can put some fans off, but not everyone read the comics. I really thought the opening sequence was well done and certainly set the stage for the movie being more adult driven.

X-Men part II: Also very well done, but kind of felt like it wore on a bit during certain parts.

X-Men part III: Saw it once and that was enough.

Daredevil: Was really excited to see the movie, but that changed about 15-minutes in with the first court scene.

Hulk: Friggin Terrible

Incredible Hulk: "Hulk" was so bad I couldn't bring myself to watch this version lol

Ghost Rider: Could have been really great, simply wasn't IMO

Batman (1989): Saw it in the theaters when I was 10 and was simply struck by how awesome it was. Had never seen a comic adaption up until this time that really treated the storyline with the dark undertones it truly deserved to make it work. This movie was a benchmark moment for comic adaptations in my opinion.

Captain America (1990): I remember being a little disturbed by the graphic images in the movie.

The Punisher (1989): As disturbing as it should have been.

Spiderman I+II: Captured the spirit of the comic book pretty well. I've just never been much of a fan of the series in general.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight: Kudos to the mood of both movies, but I seriously just can't take the low voice Christian Bale uses when he's Batman. It seriously makes me laugh every time I hear it and kind of ruins it for me. Heath Ledger awesome though very well thought out.

Fantastic Four: Kids movie and no thanks.

The Watchmen: Extremely well done. If you haven't seen it you should.

Sin City: Yet again awesome movie well done

300: And one more time excellent adaptation very entertaining.

Spawn: Very unique movie, took some artistic license here, but overall I think paid a decent homage. Kind of a cult movie now.

Am I leaving anything out that should be mentioned? Please don't say the Shadow or the Phantom. :L

My excitement changed during the trailer.

Once the writers and directors started sticking to the original source material and stopped coming up with their own versions, these movies got far better. I am personally looking forward to the redo of The Shadow. Here's hoping they get it right this time (Damn overracting Baldwin)

I think that can be cool as well. Baldwin certainly didn't do the movie any favors that's for sure.
