In watching OSU under Meyer I never really thought OSU was beneath any of the big SEC schools and thought they had just as much talent as anyone in the country. This OSU win doesn't surprise me on bit.

Whether we like Urban Meyer or not he has done really well everywhere he goes and gets the most out of his QBs. I was trying to think that didn't one of his Utah teams shock Alabama in a bowl game before he left for Florida.

I also noticed that Auburn exposed them on deep passes when they played them this year and it bit Alabama a few times in this game.

Utah did crush Bama but that was under Kyle Whittingham in the Sugar Bowl which I want to say it was around 2009ish. Meyer did great at Utah and had an undefeated season that won a BCS bowl I think against Pitt if I recall and that was when he went on to take over Florida.

And I'm not too sure on this but I believe Meyers undefeated season with Utah may have been led by Alex Smith while resulted in that number 1 pick a few months later.

Doesn't seem like there was much in the way of defense for many teams in these Bowl games the last couple of nights other than TCU.
