I'm torn on this. I think Jones should have accepted the fight. I get why Sonnen took the fight, what does he have to lose? But Jones is the champ, one of the best pound for pound and probably the 2nd most popular fighter behind Silva (GSP has been out too long). You have a week to prepare, and I get that isn't a lot of time, but Sonnen is a lesser fighter and also only has a week to prepare. You have to see the big picture if you're Jones. Him declining is costing a lot of people (both big and small) a lot of money.

Henderson and Sonnen are friends. I wouldn't be surprised if Sonnen knew of the situation early and is a bit more prepared then he let on. Henderson injury has been rumoured for awhile.
