Going to be quite a battle today between Speith and Kuchar. For what is called a "boring" sport, a major on that final Sunday can be quite fun to watch.

Credit where credit is due though, Spieth is delivering some quality golf.

Kuchar choked, plain and simple. Spieth gave him every opportunity to win multiple times and every time Kuchar couldn't find the fairway. It looked like he was playing not to lose than to win IMO.

i thought he would be 2nd to nicklaus for this.....

My bad, I misheard it.

Great win for Spieth! He really gutted it out today. Would have rather seen Kuch, but Jordan has got a chance to be one of the best of all-time.

Good on SPeith for tearing it up down the stretch but that 13th hole was a disgrace. Going all the over to the practice ground to get his relief?

It was forbidden for players to hit onto another hole (the 10th) from the 9th this year because it was to their advantage. How is his taking an unplayable off of your current hole of play (the 13th in Speith's case) onto the practice area any different? He should have had to go back to the tee and play his 3rd from there or hack his way out. So lame.

Do we know if Spieth plays a Titleist golf ball because they got about 20+ minutes of free advertising during that fiasco?

In the late 80s a friend of mine went to England and brought me back a magazine called British Open. It wasn't about golf though!

Hey - O! Oh the good times we have here.

Double D started okay, but then yikes...

to add insult to injury, upon further review the officials corrected his score on the 7th hole to 14, which ties him for highest one hole score in a major.
