When We Were Kings. Documentary about the Rumble in the Jungle.

Soundtrack includes live performances by BB King and James Brown among others. Great movie too.

I agree. From a musical talent standpoint Prince is in a class of his own. He can play so many instruments. He's written not only great songs for himself, but a number of other musical acts.

Yeah, he's great. Saw him perform at Roskilde Festival last year. Didn't think I would recognize so many songs, but I did, almost all of them. The concert was fantastic with 70 000 people around me.

there's a documentary about that concert that was put on in Zaire in conjunction with the fight.
it's a terrific watch, and an amazing listen.

Xanadu is cool....it's ELO for crying out loud...

Did somebody say my name?

I liked Blood Diamond as well (someone said it on the first page), but I tend to go more for soundtracks that are composed rather than the mixed tape approach. Empire of the Sun might be my favorite. A lot of people probably haven't seen it, but if you like history/war movies, it's pretty tops.

Hmm.. Empire of the Sun. Was that Christian Bale's first flick? He was the kid right?
