I actually...sadly read the first Twilight book a while back. I then proceeded to read the first Harry Potter in the series and I couldn't believe the difference in terms of how well HP was written compared to Twilight. ...How the hell did the author of the Twilight series even get published. It's as if a monkey wrote it. It's so poorly written and it's so cliche.

That's right ladies and gentlemen. I have now introduced a Twilight vs Harry Potter debate. A new low for these boards.

:D

Epilogue could've been better, but I was just happy that Harry was finally happy...

I liked that Harry was happy and healthy and had plural wives. I thought the epilogue was fine. I really liked the final book as a whole. I just thought after it got started very well there were some lulls. The last half was fantastic.

I think the battle of hogwarts is going to be hit or miss at the theatres. It has Lord of the Rings battle potential...or they can just shit the bed. I think it will be epic.

LOTR and Harry Potter aren't even comparable.

My only regret is that I do not have enough negative rep power to adequately give this the attention it deserves!

You must never read a book about shimmering vampires or adolescent wand-wavers again and regain what once hung between your legs. :p

I read the first Twilight too. I read pretty much every popular book because I'm not one of those pretentious dickwads who assumes I'm too good for everything popular.

However, Twilight sucked so much. The writing is a travesty. I get pissed when people compare it to HP. HP is like Hasek in his prime and Twilight is the goalie playing in the 40+ beer league team.

And LOTR is a dynasty greater than the Habs times a thousand. ;)

Just a heads up in case any of you "nerds" are still looking. I just found a decent stream on quicksilverscreen. It has the wholse movie and doesnt end/revert to beginnning after 36 minutes.

The audio sync is a tad off towards the end and the scene where Harry finds the sword is very dark. Besides them, decent feed.

Good movie btw. Everyone is saying not much happened, but if you read the book it is very interesting. They only missed a few things which I would have liked to see.

Santa Claus and the Bible are both pretty popular.

:-p

Hahahaha.

Hey, I read the Bible.

This conversation reminds of a quote from Doug from Weeds. "I tried to read the Bible. I really did. But it always just seemed like a less awesome version of Lord of the Rings."
