I think that is typical worldwide.

I was serious about moving there before we had two kids. The scenery there is really nice and there are a lot of things to do outdoors. The weather there isn't that bad at all.

At the end of the month I am moving back to North Vancouver Island (location hint: Willie Mitchell and Clayton Stoner). Vancouver and the lower mainland itself is ok, but I had a much better (and cheaper) time doing outdoor activities on Vancouver Island.
