I noticed last night they had the sabres-leafs and van-calg game on saturday night and the hockey night broadcast before hand. Reminds me of when I went to boarding school in BC while we'd all gather around to watch hockey all night..

those were the days..

anywho do they always do it on nhl network saturdays? I'll def tune in if they do, just happen to catch it by chance

iirc, you went to boarding school on Vancouver Island correct? Was it Shawnigan Lake?

I've never been inside, but impressive looking grounds and in a beautiful location.

I'm happy to see that Canada is not alone in getting the mumbling, bumbling and stumbling that is the play-by-play work of Mark Lee.

Brentwood Bay is also nice (but I think even more expensive than Shawnigan Lake).

It was Matt Cooke (and the goal should never have been allowed to stand). Justice prevailed in the end, though.

do they show the CBC feed?

Brentwood is nice too, but I prefer the campus and layout of shaw. Both outstanding schools though and if i ever (and i mean EVER) had the money I'd send my children there. You hate boarding school when you're there--so many rules and whatnot, then when you leave you truly understand what you missed. I'd relive those days in a heartbeat

i couldnt believe the canucks could survive the "withering" pressure the flames put on them in the 3rd period saturday

it was the Flames that withered and died on the vine Saturday night (it was their 3rd game in 4 nights, but it's tough to see that game come and go without getting at least one point).

I have always wanted to see a Battle of Alberta game in a bar somewhere between Edmonton and Calgary. I heard stories where there would be line down the centre, and depending on your jersey you would only be allowed on the left or right side of it.

that makes ME feel better, anyways :D

I have never seen a person happier in the penalty box than Jovanovski at that moment.

I hope the restrooms were on the side of the team you were rooting for.
