Oshie Skips Practice

The Blues announced today that Oshie wasn't at practice and termed it "an unexcused absence." Very odd...doesn't sound like Oshie at all. I could be wrong, but I never pegged him as the skipping type.

It makes me wonder if something is wrong...reminds me of the Vince Young thing for some reason. That and knowing that this NEVER happens in the NHL. Really, I've only heard about it in the NBA and occasionally in the NFL. Sort of worrisome.

The Blues organization doesn't tolerate shit like that, and Oshie doesn't seem like the type to pull shit like that. I wonder if...

1. There is something wrong in that dressing room that they tried to rectify with the recent Johnson trade.

2. There is something wrong in that dressing room BECAUSE of the recent Johnson trade.

or

3. Oshie is young, dumb, made one mistake, and the team will punish him, and it'll probably never happen again. This could be one of those things that 10 or 15 years ago we never would have found out about because of the way the media worked, but now it's getting a little blown out of proportion because of the "bubble" these guys live in.
