Well that is the only national chain #1. Regionally Runza makes the best cheese burgers!!

Don & Millies in Omaha -Double Dons are my go to fast food, except each burger is cooked to order so it's always hot.

Sinful Burger in Bellevue was almost put out of business last year because of road work. They went on social media asking for help from their customers. People responded in mass and the place stayed open, and they have great burgers & fries.

Stellas is always rated one of the best burgers in the area and it's one of those tiny places to eat. Dinkers Bar in Omaha also is fantastic. I need to try Zombie Burger in Des Moines sometime. The last time I was in Des Moines was during State Fair time and the line was 4 blocks long to get into it.

actually have a Don & Millies not far from me havent gone there in quite some time, Usually when im in the mood for burgers and dont wana make them but want a good burger i send the wife to Runza and have her get an original runza sandwich and a cheese burger and fries. Havent ever eaten in bellvue to be honest unless you count eating a couple granola bars at an air show out oat offut

The only thing I ever get from McDonalds is sweet tea.

Seriously, I don't even consider McDonalds to be actual food. I think I ate their chicken nuggets when I was a kid. Until I found out they were pressed chicken parts pretending to be actual pieces of chicken and then I never even considered it again.

The BK near our house is empty 100% of the time. If you really want fast go there, but there's a reason there is never ever more than one car in that drive thru. There's a Taco Bell next door and it has a line out into the street about 18 hours a day.

Jack in the box and Wendy's are edible, but can't say I'd do either more than once or twice a year.

And 5 guys? Feels like you have to take out a mortgage to buy a meal there. What's up with a small fry feeding 20?

Chain burger joints are mostly horrible.

Yeah, if I'm driving through someplace for a burger, I'd much rather go to a Mom and Pop type place than a chain. I like 5 Guys, but they are a bit expensive for a burger place.

Found out that they opened a Steak and Shake about 40 minutes from me. I'm going to need to make a pilgrimage there pretty soon. Loved that place when I lived in Florida.
