Just curious to see what everyone thinks our most pressing needs are. Assuming we sign Cousins and depth for the team (Scott M. has indicated we will not be players in free agency), what do you see our biggest draft needs being in order.

I highly doubt we don't sign a starter or two in FA, but for the sake of the discussion, lets assume we don't. My top 5 are:

1. NT
2. Strong Safety
3. ILB
4. RB
5. WR

The next after would be a nickel CB and then DE. Bottom line is we need more youth and talent on the defensive side a just a few pieces on the offense I feel. Thoughts???

Don't forget center. Licht has run his course. We have to upgrade with youth.

Yeah not sure why this was missed on the first 2 lists. Not saying we use our top pick but this is by far the biggest need IMO.

We have enough needs across the board that we really can go BPA with that 1st pick. As SM says, we just need football players. Don't get hung up on trying to fix a specific position.

Center I can understand, but we have Baker and Paea at DE. Paea would have done better without injuries of course.

Paea was not producing before he had his injury. I think we go De in round one b/c of all the talent out there. Especially if Hatcher retires.

I agree that with that first pick it really should be bpa outside of a very small handful of positions.

After watching the Super Bowl, I think we need to take a DE or OLB....LOL. My gosh, that pass rush was awesome.

I'd rather have a safety capable of coverage that extends well beyond check downs and the like. Though I wonder what they plan on doing with D-Hall. Gruden while indicating he still needed to work on things and get comfortable in the position. Thought Hall was coming along nicely and a full off-season playing safety woyld serve Hall very well.
