Count me as yet another of the non-believers with regards to Orakpo.

The franchise tag is a must - when he's on, he's great.

Now, about him sucking in coverage (still ALSO true, skinsdad)...

Orakpo is about as good in coverage as LFB is now. The difference is that LFB is 12093102938 years old, and Orakpo is just slow to diagnose a play, and takes poor angles in coverage.

so you disgree that Rak shouldnt rush the passer more ? or that our ILBs dont cover well and as bad as they are Rak might have an edge . an edge that elevates him from putrid to disgusting ?

I don't know of too many fans who wish Orakpo ill will. He simply wasn't worth the franchise tag designation last year, and wasn't worth investing a lot of money in, considering the redskins many needs, and the fact that Kerrigan had a career year opposite Orakpo, who had .5 sacks in nine games.

I hope he does well for the Titans, and am more than excited that the redskins finally seem to have an adult making the roster decisions in GMSM.
